Initially founded as Southside Digital Solutions in 1994, the company name was changed to supportpro.com in 1998. A better name, it was descriptive of the hardware and networking section of the business, but it didn't represent the web development aspect very well. Times have changed and so has the name-to Kung Fu Development. There were many other also-rans in the fight for new name, and you can see them here.

Kung Fu Development specializes in web design and web application development using php and MySql, though there is some javaScript and plenty of good ol' html in use also.

The reason this site exists is found in this conversation between myself and a prospective client:

Me: "I'm a programmer. Want a website?"
Them: "Maybe, what have you done?"
Me: "A bunch of sites. I did http://...blah blah blah"
Them: "Wow. That sounds really good. What is your website address?"
Me: "I don't have a site."
Them: "Hmm."
